Ebay idiocy
Take a look at the item that was bought, read the descriptions CAREFULLY and you'll see what I mean

I wonder what feedback the guy selling the picture ( photoshopped ) of the PSP got from the idiot that bought that a week or so ago.
really, Ebay should be cracking down on these people. It's as bad as taking money from the elderly for sweepstakes entries in the mail.this post contains small bits of intelligence culminating to the appearance of wisdom.

Nah, the seller made it pretty clear. I don't feel too sorry for the fool that bid on it. Guarntee it will teach him a lesson.

Wow, there are more illiterates out there than I thought. Either that, or they are too lazy to read the description before they bid $150 for something. Serves them right.

he did mention several times to read the description closely.

I agree, it's buyer beware, but Honestly, they are burying the actual item for sale in a sea of gobbledy-gook. A lot of people bid on items that come up as closing in minutes or seconds, and then bid on them, hoping to snag it quick and on the cheap.
It's just dishonest, period.
Would you sell something like this with a clean conscience?this post contains small bits of intelligence culminating to the appearance of wisdom.

I think people who try to sell only the picture.. should be beat.
You know darn well they are only trying to be deceptive and scam someone out of their money.. in hopes they did not read the description all the way.. or perhaps english is not their first language so they don't fully comprehend the text.

Meh. People jump to conclusions. If I were a guy at ebay I would ban this guy since it is clearly a joke. Seriously, you could sell a picture of just about anything. This guy is a dishonest rat who is praying on those who don't read discriptions properly.
Seriously, just because he put picture before the item description doesn't make it right. It's easy to skip over that if you're reading in a hurry.
-
December 31st, 2004, 11:27 AM #14So, because YOU didn't read what you were bidding on Ebay should ban him? He didn't hide it at all, didn't even try.

NOT to beat a dead horse or nothing but...
Just reading the description was hilarious, anyone who wants to knock on this guy isnt thinking things through.
He said it 4 times.
Please read item description carefully.

December 31st, 2004, 01:39 PM #16I definitely wouldn't. I think both sides are at fault...the seller for being a rat and the buyer for being an idiot.Would you sell something like this with a clean conscience?

It is pretty sleazy for someone to setup and word their auction like that, knowing that they will snag someone in it. However, if someone is not reading the description, which is painfully clear, then they get what they deserve.

What was so terrible or sleazy about the ad? He made no attempt whatsoever to disguise what he was doing.
Jeez, why does everyone think that everyone has to be nice to them to protect them from their own stupidity? If you are dumb enough to bid on it, you take your lumps, I don't see the problem. My computer is bigger than yours!
