Chevrolet introduced the 2006 Corvette Z06 at the North American International Auto Show. It is the fastest car ever offered by Chevrolet and General Motors. It is comprised of an unprecedented level of capability and technology, making it one of the greatest performance vehicles on the market. With 500 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque, it also is the most powerful passenger car engine ever produced by Chevrolet and GM.

I heard about this form my uncle back in the summer of 2003. This new corvette was suppose to be introduced this year as the new C6.

Why would you buy a slower car that cost more money?

Then again, the side view of the new Vette looks like a cross between a mazda miata and a late nineties rustang...so maybe your right, looks are all that matter.

I like this new Corvette more than the new Mustang, but I like the new Mustang more than the 2004/05 model. The best Mustangs and Corevettes IMO are the old ones from the 60s and 70s.
