Funny thing is, she is trying to move to the center to be more appealing to the mainstream, so the Democrats elect Dean as their chairman!
Really, really smart.... |

Dean will fire up even more the already fired up liberal extreme and alienate the moderates even more. Dean taking the DNC chairman position pretty much sealed up GOP control for the rest of the decade.
I doubt either Condi or Billary would make it through the primaries though. |

McCain lost all my respect when he endorsed the guy that smeared his family. Bush called McCain's wife a weirdo. McCain's adopted daughter, Bridget, who they adopted from a Mother Theresa orphanage in Bangladesh was transformed into an illegitimate black baby. Quote: |
When Cindy and her husband sat watching the exit polls the next night, Cindy began weeping when it became evident McCain had lost, her loud sobs breaking the silence in the room. McCain tried to stop her tears, telling her it was part of the game. “Think of how the Bushes felt two weeks ago in New Hampshire.” Cindy turned to him sobbing. “We never called his wife a weirdo.” http://hnn.us/articles/8008.html | Man, the guy sold out. If someone said to my family, the things they said about McCain's family, they'd be lucky to have teeth. Getting my endorsement would certainly be out of the question.

He's just playing the game, MTAtech. If he failed to endorse his party's candidate, his chances of ever making it into the White House would be gone. Shows a man who knows what's important and what is not. You don't throw away your future because some jackass calls you names. It's clear who's the bigger man and who's the jackass. But then we already knew that. |

M_Six, isn't there a word for that? Unprincipled opportunist? Actually, that's two words.
What you are saying is that McCain is supposed to 'forget' that Bush maligned his wife and child because McCain wants to get political favor. I think that shows lack of backbone. YOu may disagree but that's how I feel. |

I don't think he's supposed to forget it, and I'm sure he hasn't. He just knew the time wasn't right. All the same, it was pretty sickening to watch them pretend to like each other. |
