I just returned from 2 days in Hot Springs. It was a very interesting city to visit with alot of places to go to and alot of things to do. I booked a room online and managed to be terribly happy with a low rate and a beautiful lake just a few feet from the door.

There was alot to do and we only managed to take in a few special places. I terribly enjoyed the crystals and rock shops. The Bath house was a uniques experience. The highly touted BBQ of McClelends was horrible, and my tongue is still hurting! Give me the stuff in Lockhart TX anyday!

It was a wonderful couple of days. Excellent R&R. Peaceful.

Didn't make time for the racetrack, on purpose. Might have been fun if we had more time.

Overall, it was a delight to see the town in the off season. I can just imagine the hustle in the summertime.

Sure was a nice place to visit...........
