Cop shoots himself?
Cop shoots himself? Or not?

March 9th, 2005, 06:56 PM #2While teaching kids gun safety and stating he is the only one professional enough to handle the gun a DEA officer manages to shoot himself in the leg. He then just asks if everybody is ok and goes on with the demonstration like nothing happened.

I don't want to laugh at him shooting himself, but did you see the reaction of the kids when he said "give me the other gun, Brian".

I could hear a kid yelling "put it down!"

Okay, since he seemingly wasn't hurt too badly...

did he realy shoot himself, it kind of looked like it but when you think about it, wouldnt the other people have paniced if his leg was covered in blood?

March 9th, 2005, 08:06 PM #9Why would his leg be covered in blood? Unless he hit a major artery, blood doesn't just spurt out. This isn't the movies.

but he shot himslef in the leg, what does he need to do to stop talking? shoot himself in the other leg and both arms then bite the trigger to shoot himself in the chelt lol, i dont get why he didn't cheak the magazine before doeing that demonstration, or better yet, remove the mag and clear the chamber first.

If he were to panic, it would frighten the kids, he was atleast smart enough to keep his cool.
A gunshot to the leg might be painfull but Its not the end of the world

Its a safety demo, a good way to show safty is by example, he obviously failedi dont get why he didn't cheak the magazine before doeing that demonstration, or better yet, remove the mag and clear the chamber first.

The video stops after the shot? Maybe just the video that embedded in the web page. Try watching the video that's avalable for download, here. There's no doubt something happened to his leg.

Saw that earlier. He was probably too stupid to know he was in pain. Morons and guns don't mix well. At least he only hurt himself.
You can't fix stupidity.

Maybe it's an act all the way through. A blank and a limp...

Oh, I did. ;-) I also quit smoking 5 years 3 mos ago. I quit swilling coffee like a madman as well. That was a huge deal. PS: thanks Steve & Surreal. Nice to see some old regulars still here....
I should probably buy a new...
