Here is another gas thread, with a poll!  The question is simple. What kind of gas do you use in your vehicle? Also, if you used a higher octane gas before, did you switch to alower octane gas because of gas prices?

My car runs without problems on 87, even while climing hills in high gear on a hot day. It's one of the few advantages of a N/A low-compression motor. |

89' ... gets me more MPG, and car runs alittle smoother.
Then again, I haven't graphed whether the additional 3 - 5 mpg cost me more, less or the same.

none of the above right now... E85.. cheaper than gas right now... and give me a little more power but sacrifices milage a little.

The only difference between regular and premium is the temperature and pressure at which the fuel combusts. |
