LOL. What Whir said translated: the Lotus Elise is a car with a small engine that will go faster than you say.

yes and a celica well not maybe a box but is not aerodynamic at all (the 1986 one that is)

the current Lotus Elise has the celica GT-s motor, but with more valve timing so its 190Hp.

I disagree. It was quite aerodynamic when compared to other cars of the era.

Really, the issue here is that you think I'm lying. That irritates me.

Down a hill, sure it will. Hell, if the hill is long and steep enough, gravity alone will accellerate it to that speed.

Yeah, but not at 145 miles per hour. Actually, it all depends upon the drag and mass of the object.

I think I'll go hop in my Neon Highline (top speed of about 90) and drive recklessly to somewhere I can get food. Then I'll come back (recklessly) and it won't have taken me any more time than it would have if I had driven a 911 Turbo because speed limits exist for a reason! Whoah.

The guy who owned the GT-S got to drive around in a (I think) '78 911 Turbo that a guy we worked with owns and restored from the ground up. He said he started to get scared at 160. Not sure if he was fibbing or not. But that's fast. Really fast. Even in a Porsche.

yea, over 150 is scary, no doubt about it.

believe it or not the 70-80s porches were faster than the current ones.

160 isnt that fast in a porsche that car should feel really nice at those speeds. they are built for it. i could understand being scared at those speeds if the car wasnt meant for it such as the supsension and brakes arent going to slow you down good and whatnot
