I've known and loved Koenigsegg for a very long time now. Their cars are just awesome. Some people dream of enzo's and porcshes, but i'd gladly take a Koeny over one

The Veyron is one of my wish list cars.

Uhh, I don't think any car - even the Veyron - can accellerate that quickly to 210 (as the movie claims).
The car sounds awesome, though....but it looks like an Alfa Romeo from the front.

I think they were counting Kilometers per hour, not Miles

Last I checked, Bugatti was French.
And it really doesn't matter anyway, since every country besides the USA uses metrics.

hmm well a quick google pointed me to this
Bugatti is one of the most celebrated marques of automobile and the one of the most exclusive Italian/French/German car producers of all time. The company is legendary for producing some of the best sports cars in the world. The original Bugatti failed with the advent of World War II, but has been resurrected twice, most recently under the Volkswagen Group.
Although founder Ettore Bugatti was born in Italy, the automobile company that bears his name was located in Molsheim, in the Alsace region of Germany (in France since 1945). The company was known for its advanced engineering in its premium road cars and its success in early Grand Prix motor racing, winning the first ever Monaco Grand Prix. The company's success culminated with driver Jean-Pierre Wimille winning the 24 hours of Le Mans twice (in 1937 with Robert Benoist and 1939 with Pierre Veyron).Main PC: AMD FX-8350 / 16gb DDR3 1600 / AMD 7970GE 1200mhz Core & 1600mhz Mem / Win7 Pro 64bit

The engine was designed by VW. I'd say its more German than anything.

i just watched the Top Gear video of it........it is amazing.
if a Mclaren F1 and the Veyron start out from the same spot, and even if the Veyron is standing still, and the F1 gets to 120MPH, the Veyron will still pass it and reach 250MPH first.
-
December 14th, 2005, 08:38 PM #3994
No kidding. The McLaren F1's top speed is only 230 mph.
-
December 14th, 2005, 08:46 PM #3995
i think you failed to miss the point.
Veyron speed=0
Mclarean F1 speed =120
Veyron will pass it after 200 MPH

December 14th, 2005, 08:49 PM #3997So now it's 200? Are you making this up as you go, or is some AOL Instant Messanger bot giving you this information?

Then why did you change the number from 250 to 200? I don't even know who Jeremy Clarkson is....he has as much credibility as pea soup as far as I'm concerned.
