Last I heard the torrent does not share a frame _yet_.

Well the Torrent would be for me. My mom is looking to trade in her Sebring as well as they have a bad feeling about it. As stated above, all of the '06's are gone so we would have to order a '07 which would be in by March-May. I like the Theta twins is because there crossovers so there car based instead of the truck based, body on frame design. |
If you are looking at a Crossover, the Freestyle is a good one to check out. The chassis was design by volvo so it has a very smooth ride and excellent safety ratings. The CVT provides car-like fuel economy will being able to deliver more power to the drive train than a regular automatic as it has an adjustable power band. Although many people think that the 205hp engine doesn't have enough power. I think the Freestyle is fast enough to pull out in front of heavy traffic no problem.
I heard that the '07 Freestyle will be coming with a more powerful engine at I think 250hp, I can't remember exactly the number, but it was a big increase. |

That's pretty silly. My Jeep probably has less HP and weighs more and I have no problem getting into traffic.
Well, I didn't before it exploded. Now it just sort of sits there. |

I could see Tracker lines in it, and it's low-slung like the Tracker was. |

exactly whir, if people didn't need to have to try and fit in a really tight spot on the highway time interval, then they would realize they don't need such powerful engines.
My sister's 110hp skylark gets by fine.

As does my 97HP (probably more like 80 realistically) Protege.
I stopped worrying about horsepower when I realized that I spend 1/3 of my paycheck on fuel. |
