Some fluid treatments have their uses. I have used Lucas transmission treatment in a Sable before. Not the Sable I had, but another one. Anway, it worked quite well to smooth out a mild, yet still annoying rough shift issue. Given the price and ease of use, it was certainly worth a chance before tearing into a tranmission.

Why is it everytime I see a good wheel/tire package on Craigslist, I'm too broke to buy it?!
200 bucks for the nicer Durango rims with good tires, or I'd be happy with the 600 price tag on true custom rims with pretty new tires...not sure how I feel about polished aluminum though...that's a lot of maintenance in a state like this that loves to use de icers like salt in the winter. |

Nissan GT-R = failure IMO.
Doesn't hold a candle to the true skylines heritage. It's just too heavy and too luxurious for an sports car. I'd love to have a R32-R34
____
The 370z is growing on me, not so much for aesthetics (that's going to take a while ) but more for it's maturity in performance.
They went in the right direction with it; less weight, more HP, and a smoother torque band. Let alone the improved shifting. Should be quite a fun car to drive

To be technical, the true original heritage of the Skyline was as a Japanese luxury car. Few people probably realize it these days, but the Skyline predates Nissan.
With that said, I still prefer the competing Mitsu EVO. Even in its stock form, the EVO retains much of its motorsports heritage. When it comes to heritage and original design, the EVO was essentially a WRC racer first and a road car second. |

Screw the GT-R. It's not a purist's car, and computers make sure you "drive right". What a load of crap. And is it true that if you break something while the launch control is off, your warranty will be void?
For the money, I'll take a Lotus Exige S, even though I probably couldn't fit in it. |

For the money, I'll take the new M3 4 door, even if people think I'm a cock for driving a BMW.

Disabling VDC enables LC, thus improving launch performance. However, LC can be rough on the transmission, and Nissan is reportly giving some GT-R owners a nightmare for repeatedly disabling VDC. A transmission replacement costs owners about $20,000. Quote: |

What a joke.
Individual wheels are something like $2000, too. It's one of those cars for people who have more money than they know what to do with. |
