1991. E32 series. One previous owner. Good miles and seems to be pretty well maintained.

Dang, I was thinking 88-89, not a 91! I guess my memory is slipping a bit as I slide into the middle 30's... |

The E32 series spanned 1987 to 1994. The overall E32 body lines didn't change much during those years. |

Hey ya'll - got a little car inquiry for ya
So with the market the way it is right now I've seen some pretty good deals at the stealerships. That coupled with my ever increasing want of a new vehicle, I've decided to start shopping for something. I've narrowed my choices (at the moment) to the following 3 cars:
S5
RS-4 (used)
TT-S
Pretty different cars I know and yes, they are all Audi's I just reallllly love the styling of em and could not find a comparable luxury car that really struck my fancy. Now I've heard very good things about the S5 and after sitting in one at the Audi Drive Experience (they only let us drive the 2009 A4), I thought it had one of the nicest interiors ever. The V8 would be a fun thing to have as I haven't had a big engine in quite a while. Not toooo concerned about mileage as my company reimburses.
Same thoughts go to the RS4, which is a more subdued car (in looks) but is much faster than the S5 and TTS. The interior on this one is not my most favorite (navi needed to be up higher IMO) but its seats and stuff are still nice looking. Exterior is great...I've loved the B7 A4s.
Now the TTS is much more of a sports car (small, fast, handles great, etc) but this is brand new so not much I guess is known. Plus dealers probably wont be willing to "deal" on this as its still brand new to the market.
So my question is does anyone have any thoughts about these vehicles? Good? Bad? Etc? I honestly haven't test driven any of them and I plan on doing that in about 1.5 weeks once I start vacation from work. Right now Im just still in the initial research phase
Thanks in advance for any info!

While we're showing off new rides, I don't think I've posted my new ride in here yet. (have in the folder thread)
Done a little suspension work, wheels/tires, custom grill, exhaust, bed liner, and a new K&N of course also. |

The RS4 is pretty much exactly as you described. Performance first. Comfort second. If you want sheer speed, there are usually some mild to moderate trade offs. Note, AFAIK, it is only available with a manual, assuming transmission choice is a concern.
I can't even fit in an Audi TT, so I don't have much to add about the TTS. Like you said, it is more of a sports car, but it is also a cramp little car inside if you value comfort. That might not sound like of a problem now, or even during a test drive, but consider how it could feel after driving a few hours.
Of the models mentioned, the RS4 is the prestige car. Limited production and built for sport performance. Just know what you are buying, as there is a high probability of an used RS4 being ran hard.
About other brands, you might also want to take a glance at Mercedes CLK-class models. The W209 platform is far from slouching, and the AMG variants can certainly deliver impressive performance. You can also source a seven-speed automatic, so you might even actually get 20+ MPG on the highway. |

Nice truck KK. Notice the lift. Curious, are you going to add a set of side step bars for us people that are not used to climbing into tall vehicles? |

Thought about it. I've had them on my previous toyota, and they were handy. But I'm not sure it would go with the "theme" of the truck, ya know?
Unless I find some bitchin chrome ones. |

I could see some chrome steps, though if you go that far, you might as well consider a chrome roo guard as well.... not that there are many free range roos in the United States. |
