I bought new springs, struts/shocks, and sway bars. Not because I need them, but because I want better handling.
Thanks for the help, Red. |

So I have a problem with my neon. the check engine light turns on and when I run the scanner thing it says that my engine is overheating and missfiring.
Now when a 4 cylinder engine missfires you know it but I can contest that it isn't and the te,mp gauge doesn't even go above halfway. I have cleared the codes several times now an I still can't figure out whats going on. |

Mine can tell me the engine temp and a few other sensors in real time. If yours can, I'd hook it up and run the engine up to operating temp and see what the temp sensor is reading. Perhaps the sensor is running out of range and needs to be replaced, or you could possibly have air trapped in the system causing the coolant to "steam" the sensor?
Cylinder misfires aren't necessarily noticeable, even on a 4 cylinder. I'd check your coolant for any signs of contamination, perhaps run without the radiator cap and see if you are getting bubbles. |

The only Fiat cars that I would buy are the 500 and the different Pandas. The 500 looks fantastic (the best looking mini-car IMO, even better looking than the Alfa Mito)
The others look great, but that is all they have going for them IMO.

Anyone seen Chevy's apparent "fix" to seemingly resolve harmonic squeal on the new Camaro's brakes? If not, check this out: Jalopnik - 2010 Chevy Camaro Gets Mysterious Brake Weights - 2010 Chevrolet Camaro
Brake weights? They look to be lead weights epoxied to the calipers! Seriously. What engineer cooked up this supposed solution? Does he/she not have any idea what usually happens to epoxy after being heat cycled a few times. |
