Need some prayers for my mom.
My dad died a few hours ago.
He was 81, a stroke, almost instant. He was driving with my mother and told her he couldn't see and put his foot on the brake.
She steered the truck to the side of the road, he may have already passed on by the time she turned off the motor.
Someone pulled off with them and called 911, what a blessing she wasn't there by herself.
My brother took her to the hospital, the ambulance said they couldn't revive him.
She's 80. Send her good wishes and prayers for strength if you would.
I'm OK, enough.
I'm rambling.
I'm glad I moved back here when I did. Life just works out the way it needs to be.

The final legacy of the United States will be that in the end liberalism shamed & destroyed the heritage of this great nation. How sad as I see no turning back. When in Rome ..

Now I understand when someone here has posted about grief and later they say, "your words mean so much to me" I didn't understand before.

Sorry to hear that Surreal

Thankfully your dad was able to pull to the side of the road in timeHelicopters don't fly; they vibrate so much and make so much noise that the earth rejects them.

I'm just glad for you that your Dad was smart enough and had the time to get the vehicle off the road to keep your mother safe. It could be a much worse situation than it is.
Many losses here recently
We'll be thinking of your mother, and you also.this post contains small bits of intelligence culminating to the appearance of wisdom.

Time to pretend to work. Actually I do have a few things to get done at work today. One of them is to think of new areas, and responsibilities we could take on at work "IF" we had another person in...
