Art is kind of on my mind presently as I'm having a Bateman framed. Hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow. I have a big blank spot in the dinning room I've been trying to fill for a while now.

My mother came up with the answer. She gave to charity and along with the thank you she was elegible to purchase a Robert Bateman print at a discount. She did, it's getting framed and hopefully I like the print....lol I haven't viewed which one it is yet. I think it's this one.

I'd really like to get this one for over the fireplace.

Now thats the way to go Beemer on an art appraisel, be giving that link to my sisters, both of them appraise antiques. The advice I gave TRB is what they have told me as far as art and antiques, get 3 and do not take an offer from a dealer, go to an auction house and honestly show the 3. On average the final bid will be greater. TRB I'd have a pro frame it and keep it.

I picked up the print at the framers a couple of weeks ago and hung it up over the fireplace. I think it works.

It already had a frame around it, though it's probably not the best. To tell you the truth, I don't know where it is. I think my dad put it somewhere. I guess we're just going to hold onto it and hope it appreciates in value.
