    New Jeep: Commander

     
    Yep. Chrysler has made a boo boo and now is trying to make up for it with THIS

    We owned a 96 Cherokee. It was one of the best vehicles we ever owned. I d buy another one in a minute. But...alas,they are no more.


    Looks like you either get to choose between 2 V8s or a V6. Jeep discontinued the in line 6. That engine has been around for..going on 40 years. It originated in the AMCs back in the mid to late 60s and has been around ever since.

    Forgot about that. I see a Commander once in a while tooling around in the Queen City. Not a very common site,those old Commanders.

    Yeah, there's a guy on one of the UP jeep boards that has one. That's the only one I know of in the area.
