Errr......spuck let me put this as nicely as I can:
While I am fully appreciative of the intended humor and do not by any means ascribe anything other than humorous intent, as a life-long New Yorker (something I plan to do something about), I turned to the jpg expecting a building that was somehow shown with some light as I know of no blue building of note in NYC.
Howerver, with all due respect for your right to post it in a humorous context, you will also notice what appears to be the Twin Towers in the Picture.
This has been an especially difficult time for all New Yorkers--as it has across the nation.
But here--especially--everybody knows somebody who has a personal story to tell about the event. The appearance of these buildings in this context was therefore especially jolting.
Best Wishes.

Dear spuck ,
I looked at the picture more carefully and in conjunction with a more careful re-reading of your Post.
I originally took it to refer to the bluish visual anomolies caused by the camara reflections on the right.
Do you mean the "squat" building on the extreme left , which does not appear bluish in the Pick but well-shadowed ?
I apologize if that was your intent for my mistatements then above.
I do not recognize the building but will ask my GF as she works in the WTC area.

P.S. Welcome to TecHIMO.

Dear spuck,
I asked my GF and she tells me there is a Jahova's Witness Building in Brooklyn, which as you probably know is the largest Borough of New York City, outnumbering Manhattan and which was an independent city until they merged in 1902.
The arrow in the second picture appears to point to the Twin Towers but there is a yellow "object" which is puzzleing.Aphoto distortion ?
Was this picture taken from Brooklyn, across to Manhattan ? That is what it looks to us. The first picture is still not clear but the Watchtower Building (Jahova's Witnesses) --I think it's called-- has a large clock on its face which is visible across the East River to Manhattan. The building itself is brownish in appearance to Manhattan.
The Twin Towers did have large attennae on them and the is also a utility building on the East River which has tall pipes.
The light and smog appears to have played with the coloration of everything. I am sorry I could not have been more help. You may have been on the Brooklyn -Queens Expressway, viewing Manhattan across the East River.
