Reminder Concerning Language
I have noticed a rather disturbing trend in the use of curse words at TechIMO, especially within the community forum. Most everyone that have been here for a while knows about our policies regarding language, and this is perhaps the single most important reason our great community has proven inviting to so many people. However, for the small minority of members that may not be aware of our family-friendly environment, this post is a reminder to skim our Forum FAQ, in particular the section defining proper conduct at TechIMO. Take note that using asterisks or other characters to censor portions of a curse word is still cursing.
We tend to overlook occasional mild cursing, but if a person represents a continued problem with cursing, rest assured he/she will be taking a vacation from the forum. If anyone has any questions about our policies, feel free to contact me or a forum moderator for further clarification. To the vast majority of members that strives to follow the rules, thanks for your efforts in making TechIMO the best community site on the Internet!
Best Regards,
