Currently reading "Fundamentals Of Engineering Supplied-Reference Handbook" to prepare for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam on Saturday. I'm almost done reading Through the Looking Glass and about to move on to either The Time Machine or Hamlet when I'm done, not sure which though.

I find it more than just a little funny that Mien Kempf written by a noted book burner is illegal.

Begin the Adventure - How to Break the Light Barrier by A.D. 2070 by H. B. Tilton and F. Smarandach
Despite being published with an ISBN number, this work is more of an extended white paper than a detailed book. The technological discussion aspects are rather limited in scope IMO, but the proposed development timeframe is interesting nonetheless. The breakdown of time versus the supposed barrier of light speed as perceived in a traditional four-dimension space is well represented, complete with common language descriptions and condensed quotes from leading academic authorities.Robert Richmond | Infinite perceptions. Finished that Grisham book. Another good one by him.

Reading The Chairman by Stephen Frey. It's a lot about money and killings and so forth, which is interesting.

Cry, The Beloved Country by Alan Paton. This is a very good book - Like Les Miserables, it is a classis that changed the world. Im going through it for the 4th time!

That’s a great book, so much better than the movie. If you like that you might what to think about, About Face by Colonel David Hackworth, if you haven’t already read it.

Getting into Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. I've had this book for years, but it was too advanced for me back in the day. The language is a little difficult, but it shouldn't be anything I can't overcome.

Finished Blind Lake. Now I'm halfway through Kage Baker's The Life of The World to Come.
(later) Finished the Baker; starting on Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys.Last edited by Theophylact; November 5th, 2005 at 07:44 PM.

I went to Border's last night and bought two books. The first book I am working my way through is Story of O by Pauline Reage. I haven't started the second book yet, but I also picked up I Hate You, Don't Leave Me: Understanding the Borderline Personality.

36 Yalta Boulevard, by Olen Steinhauer. Third in the author's series of mysteries/police procedurals/espionage novels set behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War era. These are quite different from your standard mystery novels. I recommend them for mystery fans.
