This Sunday Sept.11, and DOOOG.

Little by little the picture of our life gets lifted from the Table, like pieces from a jigsaw puzzle, until the picture becomes unrecognizable.

Today I go to the Memorial of my Mother in the manner of the Greek Church who passed 40-days ago.

I shall walk down streets than once saw the dust of September 11 and remember people holding candles on street corners in this City.

How short our walk really is.

Little by little, I shall place the pieces on the table and make a new picture.
How wonderous our memories are.
No picture of our life can be there without it.

Ah! This day is over....no sleep for the weary.

My suggestion:
Keep in touch with your relatives,
both close and distant.

Strange to go to wakes and funereals and see people you last saw when they were young, but are no longer so.

We take so much for granted --even parents --until they are gone.
Andf you might discover that argument with a second cousin is long forgotten --or should be.

Made a vow to renew relationships with relatives.
Sure we didn't choose them them--
but neither did we choose the experiences we both share.
