B & W old flic with Gary Cooper (I believe) , about Naval aviator who pushed for the development of the Aircraft Carrier against intense inter- and intra-service rivalry, as well as Congressional budget-cutting.
They used to show it a lot but no more.
Some of these old -and maybe old-fashioned military movies seem to warm my geezer heart. Different America then --it seems.
Although--rather in a tragic way--people are staring to look up, rather then askance, at the military.
