Exclamation Quick post reply is nice,but...

...it apparently doesnt have e-mail notification like you have when using the regular Post Reply button.
I was wondering why any threads I posted to were not getting replied to,until it dawned on me that it could be the fact that I had been using this new feature lately.
So I guess I'll be sure of this if I get e-mail notification from this post, right.

Ah hah! Now I get it! I've been using quick reply a lot, and wondered why I wasn't getting email notifications! DUH!

I think the admins need to make this clear, or fix it!

    Please?

edit: I did that in quick reply - now with an edit, I wonder if I get email notification?

I think Quick reply is great.

If NO e-mail notification is sent, then the bandwith required to operate this site is reduced.

Now that I know this, I plan to use quick reply more often..

    I think it's fine.

Hmm, maybe you guys is right. I currently rely too much on email notification, and I should use the "receive updates to this thread" buttoin if I really want to see new posts in a thread.

Quick reply is great as it means it's one less screen I have to refresh - saves my poor ol' dial up bandwidth as well.

Have to see if I can change my style a bit to suit this new quick reply and no email notification... after all, I did ask for it, didn't I??
