That shocked me but didn't suprise me, the only part that did is that he said it in front of people that would repeat it. |

I guess I shouldn't be shocked, but I am. I think maybe Nixon's ghost is still skulking around the Oval Office! |

Hm, he finally admitted that. Took him long enough.
Leaders do not make huge sweeping new laws that step all over citizens constitutional rights (read: Patriot Act) without having little or no regard for the Constitution itself.

Many of his actions have spoken quite loudly that he has little respect for the Constitution.
This is just my take on Bush. I'm not looking for a debate/argument either. |

this is the man who thumbed his nose at nato, right?
he's rude/disrespectful to the neighbors -
why should he be polite/respectful at home?
my opinion:
it's more about ego trip than leadership. <nods>
(but i also have controversial views about the value of eminem, so don't take my word for anything! <s>)

I’ve talked to three people present for the meeting that day and they all confirm that the President of the United States called the Constitution “a goddamned piece of paper.”
| I've talked to three people who all confirm that Doug Thompson spews nothing but left wing lies and propoganda. |

Were your three people at the meeting?
Furthermore, what the heck is a neo-con doing in Healdsburg? Don't you have some ultra-expensive wine to drink or something? Or am I mis-remembering where Healdsburg is? |

Give or take, I personally think he wants the juicy stuff, like most newspapers. |
