centauri, did you think for a second that maybe it wasn't real, and maybe that all of the personal information you were entering was going to be sold to about a thousand advertising companies and distributed all over the web? |

Are you sure that the ad actually came from tnawrestling.com? TNA is a legit business with a strong online presence among wrestling fans.
It could be your system is infected with spyware or adware. Have you scanned your computer with Adaware, Spybot S&D, Microsoft AntiSpyware, or similar freeware security utility? |

These things are aimed primarily at inexperienced users and kids.
Its sickening that there are people out there that use these things as bait.
Theres a section on spyware at www.howstuffworks.com that I print out and give to all of my customers when they buy a computer from me. Most read it, but it would seem that others do exactly what it says not to do Silly prats, theres just no helping some ppl. http://computer.howstuffworks.com/spyware.htm |

Unfortunatley the more popular it gets in use the more of this will start to happen on a larger scale.

Yup.
Since I've been using firefox I haven't had a single popup or advertisment (adblock) getting in my way
So whenever I use IE at a client's place I get my weekly dose of advertising crud in about 5 minutes. |
