Switching from Virgin Mobile, how do I forward my number?

I signed up with Cingular and got myself a neat Motorola flip with a colour screen to replace my expensive Virgin prepaid scam. I'll eventually be giving my old phone to my mom but currently I need a way to forward my number to the Cingular phone. Carrying two phones is kinda lame, and virginmobileusa.com has no instructions that I saw on call forwarding. Their Canadian site did, but...that's of no use to me (I tried).

My Cingular phone can do it right from a menu in the options but I need it the other way around. Anyone know how? *72 doesn't work either.

I did it by talking to a live person they took my old nextel # and used it on my cingular acc.
