Oh it does Bingo. Have no doubt about it. Especially now that we have a GWB clone job in office. Paradynes are watched for, or created, based on our good neighbour policies.

IIRC there are already religious broadcasters in Toronto serving the Catholic community rather well. However, the gay community does not have a public broadcaster providing content to those of that particular sexual orientation. I believe the decision by the CRTC is intended to ensure equality and fair access. IMO, these rulings are separate from one another and the attempt to establish a link between the decisions is spin on the part of religious groups who do not agree with the decisions. Decisions by the CRTC are made on a case by case basis.
