Bart Erman's new book is out. It deals with the history vs. legend of the biblical characters. He will be on NPR's Fresh Air today. I've heard him before, and highly recommend listening. |

He was my best friend in college's Thesis advisor. Great guy, awesome teacher. Glad I took her advice to take him! |

I have Lost Christianities. It's not light reading by any stretch. Parts of it are too detailed and academic for my high-level interest. I'm going to check out this new one, though. I missed the broadcast due to a project meeting at work (the nerve!), but I think Fresh Air audio replays are available by the next day. |

If I Had a Hammer, Blowin' in the Wind, 500 Miles. That was some good music back then! |

The audio is available now. It's a very interesting interview, mostly focusing on Mary. Lots about The Da Vinci Code, too. Give it a listen!
Correction -- he later moves on to apocalypticism [sp?]
