| senate immigration bill is totally out of line.
amnesty, grants, tuition, about the only thing it does not have is controls or methods retarding illegal immigration.
Hell breaking the law is actually a benefit with this bill. The only person who is screwed is the american citizen.
Your thoughts??? |

Yes, it just might be cheaper to build 11, 000 prisons to hold 1000 illegals each and imprison them for the rest of their lives. At $50,000,000/prison, that would only cost $110,000,000,000 and then we would feed and care for all of them 24/7 at a cost of ??????? This sounds like the kind of plan Chuckiechan and Epidemic could "buy" into. They could pay for it with the savings from the efficiency of the war in Iraq.

You deport illegals, not keep them here. |

You wanna know what I think is absolutely ridiculous about the Senate bill -- that's not to say the House bill is any better ?
I'll tell you anyway...
The greencard/citizenship provision *ONLY* applies to those who were here illegally on April 5, 2006 and have been here *ILLEGALY* for at least 5 years. Do you see something wrong here? I sure do!!!
So.... If you break the law.... we're gonna reward you.... because we "need" ( ) cheap labor.... WTF!?!?! If, on the other hand, you came here legaly and, perhaps, wish to stay... go to the back of the line... because 11 - 20 million illegals need to get green cards before you do... SAD... JUST SAD...
This is outrageous.... so people who came here *LEGALY* will NOT benefit at all from this....
I'm interested in what the House is gonna say about this....
