FIRE!

Lost 3 trailers early this morning in our park. From what I hear, it was the BBQ that set the whole thing going. Must have been an unattended/extinguished charcoal grill, because the fires started right before 3am.

Interstingly, it was about 250ft from my place, right off the back bedroom where I sleep, and I didn't even know about it until my mother called me this morning wondering if I knew what happened. Knew about what?

Slept through the commotion and sirens.

My smoke detectors have new batteries today

Fortunatley, no one was hurt, but two of the three are total losses, one of them being a vacant trailer for sale....bet you can get a deep discount on that one

Seriously, check out the fire alarms for when you are sleeping. If you are a heavy sleeper like I am you might sleep through them. My brother slept through a fire drill at my college. They blamed him and put him on Acedemic probation which we throught was pretty stupid. He was just tired from a day of pre-season for soccer and slept right through it.
