Kids that are away..........
My oldest son (Billy) is at his dad's house in Ohio. That is a long way away! I haven't seen him in over a year. I miss my son and wonder how he is doing? At the end of this year he will be a man and be on his own. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! My baby is all grown up. Any words of wisdom from you parent types on how to handle this???
Where did the years go?????!!!!!!!

Yeah, let 'em go. They'll come back to you when they need you ( which will be about the first of each month
)
this post contains small bits of intelligence culminating to the appearance of wisdom.

I know moo. Mine is in California. He lives on his own, and I'm sad about the distance between us anytime I slow down enough to take a breath.
I even go by his myspace spot once in a while. Want to meet him? http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endID=45210605
ats my boy!

He is about 20 minutes east of Cedar Point in a town called Vermilion. I bet he wishes he had a four wheeler.

I know what you mean. Imagine my shock when I found his space and saw his picture of mom's new tat there.
He's not too far from me, about 120 miles.
If you ever want to come this way and not stay in his town you guys can meet at my house and have it. (I'll go to moms and you guys have a free hotel LOL )"Sometimes life is just what we make it."

Keep talking on the phone.....
......some days it will be short and curt
......some days it will be intuitive
......some days it will be long and sharing
......some days it will be short or long and loving
Keep talking on the phone......
.......the time to be together will happen....
Moo, you have so much strenght and conviction, I absolutely admire you.
Just keep talking on the phone, communication about the most trivial subject can be heartfelt for you both....
On a personal note........
Someone can surely quote this better than I, nonetheless....
....the best things that you can ever hope to achieve with our children is to give them roots, then when the time comes, give them wings....

About an hour and a half from me. My step-son is out that way; just got his first job after graduating college. Now, if he would just get the rest of that stuff out of his room!!!

An hour and a half sounds like a perfect distance.
Too far to bring home laundry, but close enough for a mom if he's in bed sick with the flu or just had surgery to extract his wisdom teeth.

Well, I watched the first six episode of Shingeki no Kyoujin finally. It was more interesting than I expected, although had about the right level of whiny loser, strong females and overzealous idiots...
