A friend of mine who spent a week in South Lake Tahoe also is having some... interesting stomach issues.
He got dehydrated during a hard mountain bike ride on single track, and decided to try water from the river.

About 7-8 years ago my father and I during bow season got disoriented about 5 miles from the truck... after crossing a few canyons... smack dab in the badlands on the Montana line...
had to drink cattle pond water...
Made it back to the truck about 2hrs later... surprisingly nothing happened to my "system" after that...lol

I've resorted to drinking soda today because the chlorinated water from the tap is too much...
so I have this feeling that the salty corn chips + soda will = dehydration.

Some of my team are going to go climb all of Mt. Diablo, but my legs really wouldn't appreciate that.

I think I will just deal with strong crosswinds.

Well I was going to go out biking this morning, then when I opened the door it was like opening a 400* oven and letting the heat hit you in the face.
