Possbly FTW for a few, but not really for most broadband users. The cost still leaves much to be desired as compared to similar broadband offerings in several other nations. http://www.techimo.com/newsapp/i19472.html |

Too damn expensive for random folks...
SBS owners or folks thar run a website from home will find this a deal...
Otherwise... it's really a waste. |

50Mb down is absolutely useless.
I still haven't found a site (other than perhaps Microsoft) that even fills up my measly 16Mbps down pipe.

Microsoft downloads are often serviced by Akamai, which provides distributed HTTP caching/serving for lots of mainstream websites. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akamai_Technologies
Anyway, 50Mbps down is certainly usable for multiple simultaneous downloads. |

well I live here and I will never see it, I just got the cable net for $23 for 1 year,
maybe by that time the 50mbs service will be down to $149.99 a month,
