Sprint PCS SERO FTW, seriously. $30 per month:
500 anytime minutes
Unlimited night and weekend minutes
Unlimited PCS-to-PCS minutes
Unlimited text messages
Unlimited untethered data (EVDO/RTT)
Roaming included
Voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, numeric paging, three-way calling, etc.
Unless you have a corporate or employee account, try doing that with any other nationwide first-tier carrier.

Yes, but are those corporate discounts competitive with SERO?
For example, I used to have an actual Sprint corporate employee plan when working for Tandy. It was a little cheaper than the current SERO offering, but SERO is still better (at least for me) due to the provided features, particularly for unlimited EVDO/RTT data. |

Not quite as good as SERO, but then again, I am also not forced to use Sprint's service!
I believe my dad's discounts effectively cut his phone bill in half. I won't be leaving the family contract for quite a while. |

Sprint PCS has an impressive telecom network. Phone service is not the issue in my area.
Instead, customer service is more like the issue, and I have had my (un)fair share of customer service problems back in the day during my first time around with Sprint PCS.
Luckily I have yet to have any customer service issues this time around. Assuming I did, I would probably opt for eCare instead of attempting the call center number for a low priority issue. The eCare department seems to get things done, even if the eCare process usually takes a little longer. |

Looks like today wasn't slackday for this thread. Unfortunately I was too busy to really participate. |
