    Distributed computing?

     
    Just curious as to what happened to the hefty number of people that used to do distributed computing, the forums are practically dead in that section. Did i miss something? Or has it just been dieing slowly?

    SETI went to new software and shut down the onld application. A lot of folks didn't download the new software and just stopped crunching.

    FAD also quit, which was a bulk of our population

    Many went to other forums where the DC forums had a bit more support
