First of all, Welcome to TechIMO
Secondly, I think that this thread should be moved to the comunity, because it is not realy about tech per se...

Whats your budget? How old are you? Tell us a little more about you, and your situation.
I own a Mazda3 S, manual, and loved it. I got it for 13,000$ with like 7000 miles which was a pretty good deal. The dash, and center console really won me over. Which I was looking at the Mazda6 as well, and the center console looks even better, although i didnt like the dash(speedometer area) as much.
Its got dual exhaust which looks good, but is a pretty long sedan. Theres an I version and an S version, the S version is faster. |

There's also the MazdaSpeed 6 with a turbo 4-banger and AWD. It's the fastest version... it will drain your bank account faster too . |

Ya, i dont really consider any of the MazdaSpeed versions "good buys". Unless you are absolutely in love with that specific car and dont wanna upgrade yourself.
I mean, most people buy a Mazda3 or 6 because its a relatively cheap sedan with decent features. Good gas mileage, stylish, and quicker than a Civic.
MSRP starting at 28 and 30 grand. OUCH.... |

Well you really should be asking this question in a Mazda forum, or atleast a car forum rather than a technical one. At any rate though, I don't own a Mazda 6 but I am familiar with the car. I personally am a fan of the 6's styling both inside and out. While the Speed 6 is the fastest version, I prefer the V6. It is a lot smoother and quieter than the turbo 4 banger and has adequate power. There is also a standard non-turbo 4 banger, but that motor is a bit to anemic for my driving style. The only down side of the 6 is that the price can start to get up there when you add on the options.

| The '06 MazdaSpeed6 is heavily rebated right now btw.

My brother has the car for over 4 months now and loves it. The side is nice and drives like a dream. The whole techtonic shifting i could live without tho. |

You really should talk to the guys over here: http://www.mazda6club.com/
I was going to get one, but the deal fell through. I bought an 04 GTO instead about 1.5 years later.

Iv'e got one had it 3 years a Mazda 6 TS2 Estate I bought it new and it now has 45,000 miles on the clock. Still running on all of its original bits with the exception of Tyres, Windscreen wipers, engine Lubricant and filters. A very good car to drive with excellent roadholding steering and brakes. A very well made vehicle, good styling, a pleasure to drive, economical to service and very reliable. |
