| Are you sure you're right?
Are you sure you're right?
politics, religion, science, whatever
This has nothing to do with knowledge, i just want to know, are you sure you're right/wrong about those things you already know?
- Yes, always [comment]
- No, i'm sure i'm always wrong [comment]
- Yes and no, depends [comment]
- No, i can never be sure [comment]
multiple choice, so you can be perhaps right in science and always wrong in religion for example, or always right in politics and sometimes wrong in science etc. (and yes you can check all of them if you want, but a comment would be lovely ;p)
BTW I dont want any kinds of flames in here or i gonna call a mod to close this, don't insult others, just post what you think, and you can question others, but in a NICE way... keep it clean (kind of sad that i have to write this here ;p)

am I sure gravity exists? yes, 100% because I'm not floating off. Am I 100% sure there is "Truth"? no, but I'm reasonably certain.
Am I sure I did well on my test earlier today? Again, reasonably but we'll know the details next week.
Do I think I have the answers to the bigger questions? Nope. But hopefully I can use my mind in conjunction with others to come up with a solution that at least keeps us from getting killed.

Depends on the situation. What's "right" for me may not be "right" for someone else. Hell, I'm not even always right when it comes to making decisions for myself.

wierd poll... Of this I am sure and correct
but in all seriousness I have subjects I feel I am correct. but when presented with enough credible fact I will change my position.
I am by no means convinced that I am always right. Just right with respect to my opinion right now based upon the facts and thoughts I have at this moment.
I have changed postion on many things in the past decade.
drug legalization (from a bad bad thing, to a well reasoned must for society)
roe v wade ( thougth it was good law to bad law to in keeping with current constitution but based upon bad ammendments) BTW I support abortion choice through this whole thing just my postion on the law.
Iraq war (good concept that we as americans do not have the guts to actually or determination to accomplish) basically either go to war or do not but no half measures. Democrat and republican to the man said go to war but within hours became waffles as i suspected. I wish the iraqi's the best of luck but america is about to screw them royally due to lack of national guts and political infighting.
we should probably not have gone to war as I suspected. this is not a vote of confidence for the left postion. they are who I charge with causing the horrors that are about to befall iraq. The Right I charge with believing they could keep the support of the left a foolish propostion
Sad but true we are about to royally F the iraqi people not because of the inability to fix their problems but rather for political wrangling and PC mentality and a country full of waffles.
Democrat politicians voted to go to war
Republican politicians voted to go to war.
A majority of the american population agreed
The world body agreed with the validity of our complaint (not the war but the complaint).
But america's people waffled and screwed another population like the poor vietnamese and cambodians.
I supported the reasons for war but I did not feel we could pull it off. OFW.
Man I hope for the iraqis sake I am wrong.

right vs wrong
yes vs no
culture vs actual knowledge
vague question if ya really wanna thunker there, creatures.
it all depends on your way of life and how you were brought up, ect endless variables.
all a person and soceity in general can do is try to better themselves and each other... the problem is when you get the greedy bastards in place that want things THEIR way, and make laws to suit only THEIR needs...
Besides, even if every decision what deemed right , that was made.... civilized democratic societys, in recorded history have NEVER lasted more than 200 years... till the USA... and even now, its on the verge of collapse. half the country disagrees with the other half... almost with a sheer hatred....
sad thing is... its gonna take another civil war in this country for people to pull their heads outta their asses.

Being "right" is quite opinionated.... So therefore, im never sure..
About factual subjects, i am usually right when i speak.
Otherwise, im quite clueless. I dont even like studying/reading about non-facutal topics such as politics, religion, etc etc B/c there is NO right answer. Seems like a never ending pointless argument.

my opinion is a construct build upon all the knowledge i learnt till now, as rational as possible so everyone in my position would have the same opinion

There are many things that I am absolutely sure I know because experiance has taught me how it is. I'm 62 years old and have had some experiance in some things and certainly not all things. When I read some of the comments in the public forums and I know some people are dead wrong but cannot be told otherwise. These are self-centered opinionated people that just irritate me no end. I usually with hold comment because these same people cannot be convinced they are wrong. Then the flame wars start. Thats where I tune out and move on. I don't need the BS a lot of people spread. I simply cannot believe there are so many that think they are the world's foremost authority on everything. Thank God or whoever for the tech forums where common sense prevails. There you have my nickles worth.

Arg. Im always wrong in other peoples oppinon. Such is junior high school. Whenever i do something its either stupid dumb or gay. ARG. Everybody hates me for one reason or another and i wish everybody could just care about themselfs and their friends they dont need to tell everybody else how to live their lives or that i have to be a gray image like everybody else. I want to be weird and different. But thats not a good thing nope everybody hates me for stuff. Thats my life story.
