If you want to read the historical documents go to
http://www.nara.gov/exhall/charters/charters.html
They are just as important today as when they were written.

I also got a copy of the Federalist Papers which are very valuable for their information as well. Thanks for the link.

I prefer not to be stopped in the street just because someone decided my clothes were "wrong" or my hair was "too long". I do understand and partly agree with your point, but this was too much, IMO.
