Factory Five GTM - US Super(kit)car Revitalized

Factory Five is best known for its Cobra replicars, but the new Factory Five GTM should turn more than a few heads while cruising down the road or around the local track.

The default GTM packages a GM 5.7L V8 at 350HP into a domestic supercar platform weighing only ~2250 pounds (dry weight). Kit builders can opt for either the LS1, LS2, or even LS6. The transmission is a G50 unit sourced from the Porsche 911. At the default configuration of 350HP, then GTM turns 0-60MPH in the mid-3's and the 1/4-mile in the 11s range.

The basic kit costs about $20,000. If you do most of the work, expect to spend around $35,000 to build the GTM.
