| Now can we go back to the old daylight saving time schedule?
Now that the Energy Department has concluded the earlier DST change saved nothing. Quote:
"We haven't seen any measurable impact," said Jason Cuevas, spokesman for Southern Co., one of the nation's largest power companies, echoing comments from several large utilities.
That may come as no surprise to the Energy Department, which last year predicted only modest energy savings because the benefits of the later daylight hour would be offset.

Well yeah, it was originally devised for agricultural industry to allow more time in the Spring harvest/livestock fields. |

Well, I liked it. My calendar had March 11 marked as DST day, so it was a week or two early. Fine with me. I like longer days.

I would like it even earlier, but it depends a lot on where you live.
