Heh heh, my Dad used to tell me stuff when I was little, and he'd preface a principle by saying, "They say that...."

So I started using this, and my 4th grade teacher busted me, to wit:

" 'They' say? WHO are 'THEY'?" Bless her heart.

Ever since, I don't accept "conventional wisdom" (or any other kind, it appears sometimes ) ...I want NAMES! and TIMES! and SPECIFICS!

Because..."They" talk too much.
