Finding a job will be easy, unemployment is very low, finding a good job however wont be as easy.
Also in the summer months (Now) our country is flooded with students from europe, especially eastern europe, who come and take most of the crap jobs. |

The problem is I don't have a lot of experience in one field, but a little in a lot of fields. So most jobs would take more on the job training I guess... |

you can rent studio apartments for around £110 a week where i live on the south coast. Ok its not like living in a palace but some are quite nice, train journeys to london are around 60 minutes long. |

As for understanding, you should be good in London, though if you head up to Yorkshire and spend some times in pubs you will definitely run into some people who are impossible to talk to.

I knew one guy who was from France a long time ago, it was nearly impossible to understand what he said once in a while (even his wife had trouble understanding what he said from time to time). |

Hello,
One of my friends that lives in London has a rich London accent, I have to listen very closely (especially if we're talking on the phone), because sometimes I can't understand him; and sometimes I have to ask him to repeat himself. It gets better when we get drunk, because we can't understand each other. One of my other friends that lives in Maplethorpe doesn't have a strong accent, so there's is not problem communicating. It all depends on who you meet in the U.K., just like the U.S. where everybody has a different accent.
Hey EX just want you let you know that the Dollar to GBP is $2.01, and it will get worse as the weeks progress. Take care. |
