Those weren't too bad, I could understand what they said most of the time.

It's not so hard because they seemed to talk a bit slower. I have a hard time when they talk really fast, and/or a lot of other noisy things are around.

I almost became a UK 'Subject' many moons ago as I couldn't afford American Medical School , which I was considering at that time.

I went to Britsh Consulate, as my parents had come to the USA with British Passports as they had lived in a Royal Crown Colony and whether I could get a UK Passport.

I was told I would have to renounce my USA citizenship, which may have been true for Britain --but I didn't know this --not from the point of view of USA. I would be "Dual Citizen".
