| craigslist bombardment procedure
Boy, you throw something that has any kind of value up on craiglist for free and you just get bombarded with the emails. 28 in 24 hours on a swingset and washer/dryer.
Problem is, I want to respond to these people out of pure courtesy, but I'd rather mass mail something out instead of cut and pasting/sending out 30 emails ( 1 original to the first person to respond to each item ).
Almost need a mass mailing program.
I guess that's the price you pay to get rid of something you don't want anymore on craigslist. |

In your e-mail just address the mass letter to yourself. Then input the other e-mails in the "bcc" (Blind Carbon Copy) line.
Simple way to send out twenty or so letters all at once without the expense (or hassel) of a new e-mail program. |

Craigslist is nice...I sold 2 textbooks on there, and sold another couple on eBay. Internets FTW! |

some will guess because they do not see their name in the TO line, and to be honest some maybe skeptical of hte validity of the email.
So you may want to be very specific and note the specific craigs list item, and who you are.
Yes the recipients will not know who else is on the list. |

Yes the recipients will not know who else is on the list. | I see. Well, I'll be sure to word any responses in such a way as to validate my intentions then.
Thanks guys...a simple feature of basic email that I've never used before. |
