Hawk vs. Dragonfly (this is cool)
This 10 year old boy got a remote control Dragonfly for Christmas.

One day while outside flying his Dragonfly, a hawk swooped down out of the sky looking for lunch and snagged the boy's toy. The hawk flew to a nearby tree with his fresh kill to pause for a minute before flying home. The boy's mother was on the ball enough to grab her camera and snap this photo of the predator while he sat in the tree with his lifeless victim.

Upon hearing this story, and especially with the photo to back it up, the maker of the toy, WowWee Inc., was happy to send the boy a new Dragonfly. And now the WowWee Robo Community on behalf of WowWee has a public challenge open to everyone to get video footage of any such attack. If you manage to get a video of this your Dragonfly will be replaced and you will become rich and famous (the rich and famous part is not guaranteed).

Here's the story as told by NPR: Testing Raptor Interest in Dragonfly Robot On that page there is also a link to the audio newscast of this story.

there's alot of hawks around my area, if I had one of those I'd probably be harassing them with it.

Actually no. He looks like someone I know. The resemblance is uncanny. some friends of mine that split the scene a little over a year ago. But I am postitive they didn't go to New York, because that wasn't the two states they dropped names. Anyways, I have missed them much and been suprised they never called again.
anyways the boy looks like thier son and the resemblance is just absolutly uncanny. the boy that i know has autism so its strange to see the picture. the smile, the hair, ears, eyes, even the way he is holding the toy is the same. Its uncanny!
Thus why looking for the source. I have always wondered if my friends were okay.

It's a drag when we loose someone that we care about just because stuff happens.
I have lost many friends over the years due to someone moving or whatever.

No doubt about it. It's a shame we can't have a nationwide discussion on such topics, as they do require a bit of economic intelligence, which many voters unfortunately do not have. Instead we get...
