How's the back today DoooooG?
June 30th, 2008, 11:31 PM #22
Yeah, today, because of all the meds and maybe cause I couldn't fall asleep Sunday nite, I slept through the Monday.
This was ironical, because the one
humanid that could do the most for me, my excellent Physical Therapist,
who could stretch out and message it and maybe break the spasms....
Well, I slept through the 3:00 appointment.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, I'll call, beg forgiveness for not even calling, and try to see him.
In the meantime,
keep sending them DooGie pics.
Not only do they cheer me up,
but my GF goes under stress when I get into this state, and they cheer her up too.
Even though she's a CaaT.

Got an elboy in my backside today.
Seems like due to a "calander glitch" (i.e. humanid not DooGoid error) I had an appt. for Monday June 31 And Tuesday July 1st.
Ah! So I got "the treatment".
And a good thing it was.
Also on Methyl Prednisone.
Avoid Prednisone and methylprednisone --if you at all can.
Not only is there serious physical side-effects --like fooling your Pituitary gland that your Adrenal Cortex has secreted too much adrenalin, and hence have it cut back --not to mention other hormones keyed in to corticosteroids. Also cataracts and osteoperosis.
But Prednisone and m.p. can cause "steroid psychosis". People react to different dosages.
That's why I think the "psychological approach" of my felow DooGies rooTing fer me is better.
Also tough to find a good Vetinary Physical Therapist !

"Gets's cut off"
You have to "taper-off on steroids, otherwise your "fooled" body reads it as a sudden drop and responds to defend itself.
Talk to Doctors about this issue before the "cut-off".
I start with a larger dose and taper-off from there. It will still have effect --especially Methylprednisone for days after discontinuence.
For new users (avoid being one if you can), I think it's best to first "test drive" a small dose to see how one responds before going to therapeutic dose. Talk to Dr. about that and if they seem oblivious to effects, get a second opinion.
Trouble with most Drs. is they are more atuned to onset effects than discontinuence effects and to therapeutics rather than iatrogenics ("dr./treatment caused bad effects).
Hard to tell some Drs. that when testing someone, it might be the meds the patient is on that's causing the psych. effects.
Feeling better after Deep Elbow !
July 4th, 2008, 12:18 AM #26
Saw DEEP ELBOW Again Today.
Ever see a Doog limpng along, carrying a cane??
And a 298 lb. Purple one at that !
He complained at one point that red and blue were rubbing off on his Elbow.
Well, I must admit that lately my Purple coat has needed a "touchup" and it's also hard to find a good Vetinary Colorist -- so I do the job myself, using red and blue fur dyes.
Deep Elbow should be glad I didn't
charge him royalties for the useof Purple on his Elbow.
Err, isn't Special Agent Scully a Doctor and could make the transition to Vetinary Shiatzue back-walker ?

Get better Doog. Nothing serious right? Just some upset muscles? Or is it a nerve/disc?
A purple Doog on a Segway. That's solid gold youtube material!

What's a "segway"?
A de-luxo Gurney?
Hey! Where are you camping?
I reserved a spot in the Central Park Wilderness protected by 300 cute Attack Squirrels.
Also, a parking spot for your Luxo-cruiser on Fifth Avenue , defended by 300 Attack Pidgeons.
Just park and hike toward the Belvedere castle area near where I keep by bones.
For a map, consult the Mona Lisa at the Met; inside the lining is a map.
You deserve no less.

Is it true those Letters I got from the Missisippi Chamber of Commerce and the Tourist Offfice that they would appreciate it if I not chose to Retire there?
Or was that just a Joke from some TechIMo Member /
I need someone to divert the Smokies when I crash through the State border.
