Which Cellular Provider do you prefer, T Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, Helio, TracFone, or U.S. Cellular?

Are you looking for a scientific sampling, or just trying to figure out what to get. Because it really depends on where you live and use the phone. If you travel across the pond, for example, you don't want Verizon. If you use your phone primarily in rural areas, then Sprint is not going to work. |

I've got ATT, and it works well in my area.
What are your friends/family on? Most carriers give you free in-network mobile to mobile.

Got T-Mobile, but I don't prefer it since I've never had anything else. |

We have Cingular because that's what osprey got us. Personally, I would prefer to have Verizon because their coverage down here is much better. |

Been a Verizon user for about 6 years. Very satisfied. But as others have said, if you often travel internationally, look elsewhere. Otherwise Verizon has awesome coverage all over the US. I also have a PDA phone with a data plan and I use it to access the internet with my laptop. I almost always get a great signal and fast data speeds.
Spend a couple of hours perusing Howard Forums (howardforums.com). You can learn a ton there.

Service: Verizon - Its good, works on metro (subway) here in DC which is very nice
Phones: Verizon forces many phones to use their menu's - SUCKS
My Verizon service is pretty spotty when I'm back home in SW mich too |

You can get around the Verizon menus by shutting off the phone right after you activate it and before their customized settings load. Check Howard Forums for details. If you let the Verizon store guys activate it, you're out of luck. Although you can do a hard reset on some phones and then shut down the phone before Verizon customization. |
