how to train for beer drinking competition.

    whats up guys.

So this will be the 3rd year my and my buddies throw this MINI beer drinking competition. I stress the word MINI cuz theres not much too it.

    there are two rounds,
round 1: most beer in 10 minutes
top 5 go to round 2.
round 2: most beer in 7 minutes

there is vomiting aloud between rounds but nothing during.

    So i won the 1st year, 5 beers 1st round, 5 beers 2nd round.
I have no idea if thats alot of beer or not, but it felt like alot. And i know most of the other ppl didnt get past 3.5 so i dont know. you try it.

anyway, last year i lost, and this guy is bigger than me by bigger i mean fatter.
he put down 6 the first round, and i 5.5 the 2nd. he stopped tho in the 2nd cuz no one was close.

Well my theory is that he is bigger and has a bigger stomach, allowing him to hold more beer.

So my initial plan is to drink alot of water twice a day to try and stretch my stomach out, adding a little more water each day.

there are plenty of smart ppl and i was wondering what other plans ppl might have. i look foward to see what ppl post back

Good luck, people die from drinking too much too fast.

Let's chug beer...been there did it, got the T-shirt's to prove it. I'm impressed...NOT!!!! You're going to come on here, and brag about how much beer you can, or are going to drink...as Jokostel wrote..."It's stupid childish BS." So you drink so much you puke, passout, or maybe even die...that's amusing. Why don't you go onto another forum, and try to impress somebody else...because we're not.

never heard of anyone 'training' for drinking beer by drinking water.

in any case, college is over, I enjoy my beers rather than making them vanish as fast as possible.

what is it with all these ppl crying?
waaaa stop bragging, waaaaa drink till you die.

i'm not trying to impress anyone.
i could care less what you think or what your opinion is about the the competition.
i asked about my idea to hold more beer in my stomach. its not that difficult

    just stop whining already.
And of all ppl someone whos screen name is "outlaw"?!
    Are you kidding me?!

Y are you so inclined to give me your thoughts on it anyway?
If its really soooooooo stupid and childish why are you reading it?
Then you take it a step further and comment on it.
    gimme a break.

Yes... being problematic is ground for immediate banning.
I would re-read the guidelines for the forum.

dont take yourself too seriously man.

"you better calm down, your gonna get banned"
"your reported, this is an internet forum and we have rules and guidelines"
"your not gonna be able to post here"

WOW! i would worry about things other than someones "childish beer drinking"
if i took a forum as seriously as you do.
then again you do have 21 THOUSAND posts.

    WHO CARES!

i hope someone else reads this and replies, "I CARE"
    that will be hilarious.
So hilarious that if it happened i'd laugh myself to death, resurrect myself then drink myself to death as if i was in some sort of insane trance of childish BS of which there is no escape because i only have 4 years as oppose to the needed ump-teen that would release me from my need to collect t-shirts and impress the outlaws and jokostels of the cyber world.

Drinking water to "stretch your stomach" will most likely do nothing... Most people have to stop drinking because their body is reacting to the poison in their system. Obviously you wont listen to the people here telling you to not kill yourself, so at least do yourself the favor of making sure if someone gets actually sick, you take them to the hospital for a stomach pump instead of letting them die... hopefully someone at your "party" will be sober enough and smart enough to know the difference between being drunk and alcohol poisoning...

in ten minutes, you cannot drink enough beer to give you alcohol poisoning.
your stomach cannot hold that much beer.
i dont understand why some of you think that.

this is just off of a google search but the average stomach holds 2 - 4 liters
    1 liter = 33.8140227 US fluid ounces
    33.8140227 x 4 = 135.256091
    135.256091 / 12 = 11.2713409 beers

that means if one of us got close to the MAX, it would be 11 beers.
no one got past 6, b4 they threw up.
only 5 ppl got past 5.

Why are you so inclined to tell us about your potentially dangerous drinking competition? You will find most of us are adults around here. Until we know otherwise, we might as well suspect that you are yet another underage drinker, because you are acting like one. If not underage, you are certainly acting rather immature.

The stomach has three mechanical tasks. First, it stores the swallowed food and liquid. To do this, the muscle of the upper part of the stomach relaxes to accept large volumes of swallowed material. The second job is to mix up the food, liquid, and digestive juice produced by the stomach. The lower part of the stomach mixes these materials by its muscle action. The third task of the stomach is to empty its contents slowly into the small intestine.
Several factors affect emptying of the stomach, including the kind of food and the degree of muscle action of the emptying stomach and the small intestine. Carbohydrates, for example, spend the least amount of time in the stomach, while protein stays in the stomach longer, and fats the longest. As the food dissolves into the juices from the pancreas, liver, and intestine, the contents of the intestine are mixed and pushed forward to allow further digestion.
Finally, the digested nutrients are absorbed through the intestinal walls and transported throughout the body. The waste products of this process include undigested parts of the food, known as fiber, and older cells that have been shed from the mucosa. These materials are pushed into the colon, where they remain until the feces are expelled by a bowel movement.
you can drink quite a bit more than the volume of your stomach, I believe it'll just mix and pass into your small intestine all the while seeping the alcohol into your bloodstream. Go do a search for 'beer funnel' on youtube to see people drinking 6 beers in 30 seconds.

you guys need to relax a little.

i'm sure lots of ppl take this forum seriously.
I just thought it was silly for that guy to be like, OH OH consider yourself warned.
Like i care about his warning? Like i fear for my thriving social life on techimo.
I like this site but seriously, i just laughed when i read that.

I'm sure your all adults, and i'm sure you NEVER EVER did anything that someone else thought was stupid or "potentially" dangerous.

i know there are smart ppl here, thats why i asked.
not to hear ppl cry about how dangerous it is.
like they are generally concerned for my life.
    i know the risks.

this has been the least helpful thread ive ever started. i hope it gets deleted.

    for mr nice guy,

ive seen those vids b4, ive seen someone chug a pitcher in 11 secs.
im sure by the time his body absorbed the alcohol from those 6 beers he died.

I'm not talking about beer bongs.
just chugging out of a cup or the can.
    you cant drink that much.
theres to much gas, its to much to drink to fast you just throw up if you keep trying.

what did u guys do when you were young?
    never any drinking games?
    nothing like that?
did u sit at home and read books?
