Star Wars Episode 2
Anybody else see it yet? It's officially coming out this Wednesday, eh? I wasn't going to go see it (not right away anyway)...but then I watched it this weekend (heh heh)...and now I wanna see it on the big screen.
I love technology...
and you can't say piracy did any damage...not on my end. I would have waited to see it on home surround/theatre. But now I feel obligated to patronize it...

I thought it was this Thursday?
I assume you mean by "see it yet", by downloading it? Isn't that slightly illegal for TechIMO?
Anyway, I'll see it with some friends (possibly...)....not because I want to necessarily but because it's something fun to do

That is wierd, we have been selling advance tickets for the special Wenesday showing, and they are only $8.25 a ticket....... We started selling them about 3 or 4 days ago, and from what I have seen, they were not going all that fast, unless they were buying them over the net.

We won't have it here, due to the greediness of some people.
I'm waiting to see them look their profits take a plunge.

Vass there is people in washington state i believe who have been waiting in line for 3 months!
they have been keeping a journal and whatnot about there experiences waiting
i could see the book now
DAY 67
we are still the only ones waiting here. john next to me has replayed all of The Empire Strikes back lines forwards and backwards. no sign of when tickets go on sale
DAY 75
arguing over han solo i thought Dan Devito would of been than dead beat Harrison ford. Although i haven't done much but sit there this weird green color formation has covered my foot and i have this odd smell of really old underwear. i have no idea how long its been since i showered, but i know in the long run having my teeth and my hygeine go bad is worth it for Star Wars
May the force be with me
i seen the first hour of it and its not that bad. ALOT better than the first one. but the three old ones still kick butt! you finally get the reason for the title and how it plays into the old ones.

I notice that I can always see new movies here on the west coast a day early starting at 9 PM because of the time zone I'm in.
I.E. a nationwide release starts 12:00 AM (midnight) on Thursday EST. At that time theaters here on the west coast start playing at the same time which is 9:00 PM Wendsday PST.
I don't know if this is legal or if the theatres are cheating or splitting hairs, but I can say it does happen on a regular basis.

Correction to my earlier note...
I re-heard it on the radio... the idiots have been out there for a week
Just don't understand it, there's NO movie I would sit out in the cold/rain/humidity/PEOPLE just to watch a freakin' movie lol
NO not even for a brand new <insert console here>

I have just been to see it, New Zealand get the premire first cause our time zone is ahead of everyone elses

I was supprised too, it had a story, gasp!
cool graphics too although some looked a bit dodgy and nice sound.
We managed to get the best seats in the house for one of the flashest theatres in New Zealand with comfy lazy boys and free pop corn and fizzy, but I think I had too much though *squirm*

ok Bob, sorry that was a bit hasty of me to assume you should know.
Yes it is a series
this is what we have so far
Epp1 The Phantom Menace
Epp2 Attack of the Clones
Epp4 A New Hope - first star wars movie
Epp5 Empire Strikes Back
Epp6 Return of the Jedi
And did anyone see the Star Wars Christmas Special - the movie that George Lucas wished he had nothing to do with? Was very weird I tell you that.

Or, you can just hope a cop spots a thief in the act of stealing your bike. IOW, let them steal all the bikes they want because cops are busy doing other things and your bike is hardly on the top...
Do you think this was a legitimate...
