Only have two seasons in the tropics.
Hot 8 months. Cold the rest.
Started yesterday, it's cold.
My ratty old surface thermometer says 12 C. About 54 F.
Nice in the day tho 24 C, 75 F.
Meanwhile I'm shivering.
My fingers are cracking,
and its darn hard to roll a smoke.
Beanies and flannos.
Brrrrrr....rrrrusty. |

Yep same here in the Desert...
Boiling or Freezing...
Oh,, I forgot.... Sand Storms.
They are taking the paint off of my car and pitting the windshield.
My front headlamps which used to be clear are becoming frosted white.
Did I mention the bugs? |

The Bugs...Urgh
We got an inch of rain a fortnight ago.
This last week we've had mossies the size of magpies.
Starting to sound like Steve Irwin!
The old thermometer says 10C 50F.
It snowed in Victoria [SE Aust] last week. Its only May!
Choice time to buy a cycle. [buyacycle?]
They tell me, riding a Boxer keeps your feet warm.
Too cold to play the gags in that lot.
R. Frozen fruit salad. |

Rusty: 110F? why? that's great weather for going and digging a hole for a new pool in the back yard!

Hey, Rusty! Crank up the heat a bit! I'm coming up to Brissy for a bit in a couple of weeks, and I want warm tropics!!
So see what ya can do, huh?? Maybe the BMW can generate a bit of heat up there!!
Cheers
Mick
BTW temps about the same down here - we had 8C this morning, max about 16C. So 24C will be nice LOL | |

I was born and raised in MI. Trust me, I miss it. Been away from it since 91. |
