| Washington, D.C. ranks dead last in "Best Driver's Report" As correctly observed by Theo, drivers in Washington, D.C. ranked dead last among the 193 largest cities in the US, as reported in the Fifth Annual " Allstate America's Best Drivers Report".
Just across the river, however, Alexandria drivers were rewarded with free gas for their "most improved" award. In fact, Virginia can boast of five of the ten most improved cities.
Sioux Falls, S.D., tops the "Best Driver" list, with the average driver going 13.5 years between collisions. Of course, in Sioux Falls, most people go 13.5 years without seeing another human being, so it's a little unfair. |

Were even more po-duck than Sioux Falls, and I see MANY of the same idjits each and every day.
folks around here are "ok" at best with driving. You HAVE to be defensive here.... and when bad weather comes... you NEED to almost be offensive... it sounds odd.. but if you don't have take the chance, or make one for yourself here, you'll loose it. FAST.

| Well, Northern Virginia is known for bad roads, traffic, and bad drivers. So, most anything might be an improvement. I lived in Arlington,(right next to Alexandria) and the roads there mostly were old trails, 150 years old or more. Pave them, and make a street sign. There is a road known as Backlick Road, must be 10-15 different pieces, all Backlick Rd. Try to find Your part. Better have a zip-code. Course, living in Maryland, we have no problems.......Can I sell you a bridge???? |

They only took accidents and violations(?) into account? That's dumb. Near misses should count. |
