Easy on the insults guys... save the schoolyard antics for a chat room
Yes, the socks I buy appear to be slightly asymmetrical, although the difference is so small that I seldom pay any attention as to which is left and which is right.

There is a difference if they are different colors.
Me, I go by thickness.

This thread is really my fault as I told lemon that all my left socks were regularly snaffled by the sock troll... he was sceptical that such a thing as a "left sock" existed. Strangely the existance of the troll was never questioned.
Please tell me you are displaying a dry & sarcastic witYes, the socks I buy appear to be slightly asymmetrical, although the difference is so small that I seldom pay any attention as to which is left and which is right.
If not have several stiff drinks
All the best.

Nope, not kidding. If I had a digital cam, I'd show you, heck I'd even model the same sock on both feet for you

If you buy good quality socks, like maybe Gold Toe, then there's more likelyhood of there being a left and right sock. Even then it's going to depend on the style.
With cheap tube socks, no difference.

I'm not sure, but I know the left one always appears out of the washing machine, and the right one is gone?
Maybe a new post on, what is the most powerful sock?
All the best, Justy.

yeah of course, can't you see the difference?

Some pairs differ more greatly than others. Some look like archery bows, while others are fairly straigt.

Sock questions should be directed here I think. I was looking for a missing leftfoot-only Navy blue sock so I used Google search. That's where it took me.
WHUT?

YES there is a difference.....unless of course YOUR feet (lemon's) are exactly THE SAME.
*shudder*
